My name is Clay “Venom” Mullins I’ve been playing paintball with my wife for about 10 years. I started playing with a Tippmann 98 Custom and gradually increased my arsenal to include an autococker (LOVE AUTOCOCKERS), Tippmann A5, and soon a Planet Eclipse Etek 3. Rec-ball is fun but I prefer speedball and scenario. I have only recently joined the Texas roughnecks (2008) and have found that playing with a team is the best way to go rather than running solo! Since joining the Roughnecks I have been playing scenarios more than ever and wish I could do it for a living

Hi, my name is Sara “The Hammer“ Mullins. I first started playing paintball as a way of spending time with my husband in Lubbock, TX. Initially I thought “I don’t think I am going to like this; I’m claustrophobic; I don’t want to get hit; are you guys crazy?” It turned out it was pretty fun, go figure…and it works as great marriage counseling. Ten years later (games being far and few between), here I am just as anxious as I was the first day. Guys are always picking me out as a weak link, but after a game or two they soon figure out that I ain’t the weakest link…..goodbye! My husband and I just joined up with the Texas Roughnecks (texasroughnecks.com) which is a local scenario team filled with some great players (both on and off the team). Scenario is definitely the way to go for me until I can improve my skills in recball and speedball.

"Greg Donham aka "The Hunter" is a recent recruit to the Texas Roughnecks. Been playing paintball for about 4 years and has wanted to join the Roughnecks since year one. Although he can run and gun, he loves to use guerrilla tactics, ambushes and such. He is also a member of the Tarleton Paintball Coalition at Tarleton State University. "

I started playing paintball 3 years ago, at 13, when my brother brought me to Paintball Paradise and I rented an old Tippman (Tippy) and I fell in love...the rest is history. My brother and I started our own team (Texas Death) in 2008 and recruited my friend Tanner. Our gear wasn't the best at first...mainly Spyders and Tippy's, but we got by until the begining of 2009, when we all upgraded to Ion XEs and Halos. We finally entered a few beginner tourneys, and got 2nd, and 3rd about 5 times but we never placed 1st. In August I was looking to join another team since Texas Death broke up; I found the Texas roughnecks. After contacting hardshell about joining the team, I played with the roughnecks at the Market Gardens game at DFWAP in September of 2009, (my very first scenario game and I absolutely loved it). I traveled out to Mt. Pleasant to the Viper game where I had the privilege of becoming a core member of the Texas roughnecks.

Iron Giant03

My name is Ken "Warden" Albright and I have been playing paintball since the early 80's but only did so for a year or two since I couldn't afford it. I got back into the sport about 8 years ago with my son One-Track. We started playing speedball and loved it. About 4 years ago we tried our first scenario game and was hooked! We started our own team, Dead Man's Hand, but was recruited by Hardshell a couple of years ago and the Roughnecks absorbed Dead Man's Hand. I love the time I am able to spend with my son doing something we both love. I am also amazed at how The Roughnecks have become an extended family and I have made some really good friends.

Adam "ONE-TRACK" Albright years playing:8 I started out playing here and there when i was nine with my father, Warden. Then we started to get very heavy into the speedball scene, until we got fed up with the cheating, and trying to get commitment from other people to start a team. My dad finally coax me to play Petty Paintball's first big game. Ever since then i have been hooked to the scenario side. We have been playing scenario for 3-4 years now. However i still have the itch to mow faces in speedball.

My name is James "Ironman" Brooks. I've been playing and loving paintball for the last 10 years. My first experience was when I took my son Todd "Todo" Maddin for his 11th birthday and have been going since. I've always been interested in scenario games. I finally found the Roughnecks, talked to Hardshell, and here I am.

My name is Austin Bauer, AKA Scud 1703. I got into paintball in April of 2009 and have been with the Texas Roughnecks since November of 2009. I started playing paintball to do something active and then I was HOOKED. I try and play as much as possible now. I prefer woods ball and the scenario games just because they are bigger, but I also enjoy speedball because of the speed and skills needed for the game. I primarily use my Dangerous Power G3 (never lets me down) with a CP reg and a Hammerhead MoFo Barrel kit. I use a 70/4500 stubby tank from Dye, and I use the Dye i4s and the the Dye Rotor (the best ever). I hope to be using my 09 Geo here shortly.
