GROUP MEMBERS
1. Being part of the group, you are expected to hold a higher standard of sportsmanship on and off the field at all times
2. Being part of the group, you will be required to pay dues of $20 per year. The dues are to be paid within 30 days of you becoming a group member and then by January 31st going forward. If you are voted in as a core member in the last 3 months of the year you will not have to pay dues until January.
3. Any of the group rules that you don’t uphold will prevent you from being part of the group.
4. As a group member, you’re asked to insure that all who run with or under the Texas Roughnecks name are displaying good sportsmanship on and off the field. If not, bring it to the group’s attention so those involved can be removed.
5. Unless otherwise specified, "Field Only" paint must be used at games.
6. Never bring off field paint to any scenario event.
7. No bashing other teams, members, sponsors or fields anytime any where. Even though some teams do, we don't allow it here. Go to the core area to discuss any problem you may have present or past or PM Hornet, Hardshell, and we'll discuss it from there.
8. Never speak for the group to sponsors peritoneal sponsors or fields without Hardshell, Hornets approval.
9. Access to the group members only area.
10. Benefits of our sponsors. Paint, equipment and other supplies are available at drastically reduced cost from our sponsors (some of the top names in the paintball industry).
11. Group benefits from our sponsors are not to be talked about outside the team
12. Wear a safety mask at all times during game play and while on the playing field
13. Use a barrel sock to cover the paintball marker when not in play.
14. Don't shoot within 20 feet of an opponent. Follow field rules or scenario game rules when playing against other teams.
15. Don't make aggressive physical contact or use abusive language toward other players or referees.
16. No overshooting (shooting the same player an excessive number of times). If you overshoot a player because you didn't hear them call themselves "Out," apologize and go on with the game. If you're out, hold your marker up high and yell loudly, "Out!"
17. No wiping off paint during a game.
18. No alcohol during game play .
19. Never bring off-field paint to any event.
20. Represent the Texas Roughnecks Paintball Team positively by following all team rules or the field's rules of play.
21. Be willing to follow the leadership of the squad commanders.
22. Show good sportsmanship to other teams - win or lose.
23. Refer any problem with another team member, referee, player or field to the squad commanders and refrain from trying to settle it yourself.
24. If you break a rule, abide by the decision of the group members concerning your player status. your staus will be reviewed by the group
25. Always remember that you are representing the group and our sponsors at all times.
26. Have fun and allow other players to enjoy themselves by playing safely and fairly.
